Sketch show veteran Dave Chappelle is set to host Saturday Night Live this week. We have a short teaser, but it appears as if the main promos have been discarded for a new format, based on last week. To prepare, I am going to watch some famous clips from Chappelle’s Show. Who knows, maybe his topical humor can provide some relief from the stress of the past few days.
I don’t know precisely what the show will do to cover the election, or even if it can be mocked. It has been speculated that a different cast member might start the task of impersonating Donald Trump, but we’ll have to wait and see. Personally, I’m in favor of Darrell Hammond reprising his role.
