Heroine Complex - Your New Favorite Asian Superheroes Novel

Fans of diverse superheroes, get ready to meet two new Asian American superheroines on July 5th. Written by Sarah Kuhn (author of geek romantic comedy One Con Glory), Heroine Complex tells the story of Evie Tanaka, the overworked PA to San Francisco's most beloved superheroine, Aveda Jupiter. The plot thickens when Evie is forced to impersonate her employer and childhood friend—and discovers superpowers of her own in the process.

The book promises to be a fun superhero romp featuring two cool female characters of Asian descent (Evie is half-Japanese American, like the author herself, while Jupiter is Chinese American). Rumor has it lethal cupcakes and superhero karaoke battles may be involved. Oh, and there's a demon army threatening the city.
